Who is driving? |
Our drivers represent the best in the motor coach industry. Each one must pass a extensive background check that includes past employment, driving history and drug and alcohol history. Each driver submits to pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing. Drivers are required to pass knowledge exams that include safety, pre-trip, post-trip, emergency procedures, and driving skills. Pre-employment open road driving exams are detailed and extensive. Your driver carries a Commercial Drivers Licence's meets or exceeds Department of Transportation requirements and a current certificate of Medical Health. |
Maintenance Matters! |
Second only to safety, preventative maintenance is up most on our minds. Well maintained coaches are the backbone of our success. Fix it BEFORE it breaks. Our on-site shop handles daily maintenance and upkeep. Large projects and safety related maintenance, such as brakes, are handled by certified mechanics at Motor Coach Industies-Dallas, or Hodges Heavy Duty Truck Repair-Russellville. |
Who is Watching Who? |
Arkansas Charters is monitored by the Department of Transportation (DOT) for compliance of equipment, drivers and procedures. Our coaches undergo an annual Safety Inspection, conducted by an independent shop, that meets or exceeds DOT specifications. When it comes to safety it never hurts to have an extra set of eyes looking. |
